At one point, she was by herself on the edge of the pool pretending to jump in (it was only about a few inches deep where she was standing). And she must have been making up some kind of story or something because she was jabbering away at herself. Then, a few moments later, she got out, turned away from the pool, covered her eyes, and started counting as if she was playing hide and seek with someone. lol She told me, "mama, I'm playing hide and seek!" I love her free spirit and imaginative nature.
{warm summer nights}
I took Kaydence to the pool the other night and we met our friends there. It was such a beautiful night and the light was gorgeous! Kaydence couldn't contain her joy -- I could sit and watch her splashing about and jumping in the water for hours -- she loves it so much and I love her!

Love your photos. I'm new to your blog (after reading your article for Clickin Moms). You completly articulated the situation I've found myself in lately. Now I simply tell people no.(I actually had someone say that I should happy she asked me to shoot her brothers wedding--for free, mind you--to build upon my photography skills!)
I was wondering how you process your photos (favorite actions, etc.)
Your pictures are breathtaking!!! And that swimsuit outfit - with the hat and sunglasses - classic!!! Absolutely beautiful!
Leah your work is beautiful! I love your post processing and the vintage look. What do you use to achieve that? Thanks
