This is the first time my camera has ever touched L glass and it is already truly, madly, deeply in love already. Even indoors in low-light, this lens is a beauty...sigh. Oh well, someday...someday. ;-) I can't wait to try it outdoors. I'm so blessed to have such sweet friends who trust me enough with their expensive equipment.
Here are a few mommy shots from tonight. For my photo friends who are curious, my settings are listed below. These are not perfect by any means -- with an ISO of 3200 there will be some noise, but you get the idea.
100mmL
ISO 200
f/2.8 (wide open)
1/160
The rest of them were taken with these settings:
100mmL
ISO 3200 (highest my camera will go)
f/2.8 (wide open)
1/100

Wow! I love these!
Gorgeous!! What a sweet little curl! (found you on CM, by the way and I love your style...now you're stuck with me commenting. hee!)
thank you so much ladies! and melissa, thank you so much for following! xoxo
Oh my goodness, gorgeous shots!
These are gorgeous! If only we could have unlimited money for L lenses right!?
thanks ladies! <3
and jen, you know it! i'm so ready to trash my thrifty fifty at this point. lol i feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel for new lenses anytime soon. :-(
Leah, while I don't have a Cannon, I do have lens lust lately. I actually want a 50, which you're so ready to chuck! I only have one, a very good 18-120 right now. But I have a wedding coming up and I'm going to rent something fun to try, in the hopes that it will magically become my next Christmas gift :-)
Don't tease me with such lovliness. I'm so envious. :)
Gorgeous shots Leah. Glad you were able to play a bit :) Of course, you rock it!
